Cosmoprof Trend #5 Eco-Favs – Still Struggling to Get Attention I am a die heart Eco Organic user of all products. I love the all-natural products as you all know. At Cosmoprof I saw a handful of Organic/All-Natural product companies trying to introduce their pure products but for some reason this category is a difficult one. Even larger companies like Zotos International, a leading manufacturer in hair care products, is launching their Pure natural lines. Will they get the fan fare? Is Organic and All-Natural really mainstream. Only time will tell. Maybe soon this category will grow and women will ask for it. I can say post show that it still maybe a little while.

Redken’s Nature Rescue Finally!

I just got my hands on the NEW Redken’s Nature Rescue line of products. You all know that I only use sulfate and silicone free shampoos and conditioners. That is why I was so excited when I heard that Redken was coming out with a new line of sulfate, paraben, and silicone free shampoos and conditioners. So I tried it and I loved it. It has a great crisp clean fragrance and goes on pretty easily. It is a little less sudsy then other shampoos but still fantastic none the less. The deep conditioner is more like a everyday conditioner but serves its purpose. I would advise that everyone gives this new Redken Nature Rescue hair care a line!

So I come across so many things on my desk here and this one I had to say hmmm? How strange but how cool! In Japan, Panasonic has developed a prototype for a robot that washes hair and so much more. The robot first scans a client’s head using 3D technology, then shampoos their hair and massage the scalp with its rubbery “fingers”!!! Oh my gosh what are they going to come out with next! The company has stated, “With 16 fingers, the robot washes hair and rinses the shampoo bubbles with the dexterity of human fingers.” “The robot’s two arms scan the head three dimensionally as they move and measure and remember the head shape to apply just the right amount of pressure to each person when shampooing and massaging.” The robot hair washer will be hitting stores in a few years. Don’t worry shampoo washers I don’t think you will be losing your jobs anytime soon.
